The Old Courthouse served as the centre for justice in Fremantle for over 100 years. The two old, original courtrooms have now been restored and brought back to life with the addition of a modern steel and glass Pavilion with wrap around veranda overlooking a large, licensed beer garden. This is a beautiful, large open space in the centre of a CBD, something of a rarity and very much appreciated by families.

The Courtrooms are used for celebrations and functions of all sizes as well as music events, wedding ceremonies, burlesque shows, business events, discos, wine dinners, etc., whereas the Pavilion and Garden are somewhere to enjoy great food and drinks with family and friends or a business sundowner. At night-time coloured lights spill out from under the benches as well as projecting upwards to illuminate the peppermint trees. Strings of festoon lighting also help to add to the atmosphere in the late afternoons and evenings complimented by live musicians and DJs.
