Luxsmith

In late 2015 Luxsmith arrived in Seddon much to the delight of locals and it quickly became a neighbourhood favourite. The mod-Asian menu focuses on dishes mostly inspired by Vietnam and Thailand, but with an interesting and modern twist.
In 2018 a wine shop and bar were added next door – with big open windows and a capacity of just 30. The interior combines gentle wooden surfaces and black industrial metal shelving loaded with bottles of wine, which creates plenty of cosy bookshop-like nooks, perfect for enjoying a bottle of wine with friends.
Luxsmith Head Chef David Hall has spent time at some institutional Melbourne restaurants - Chin Chin, Bluebonnet and The Boathouse. David’s experience and determination in the kitchen has built an impressive local following plus a successful takeaway menu. He continues to use traditional Asian ingredients in a fresh new way.
